This high-energy foot-stomping show features over 45 of the finest Soul, Blues and Rhythm ‘n’ Blues classics immortalised in the legendary ‘Blues Brothers’ movie plus a whole lot more, including Gimme Some Loving, Everybody Needs Somebody, Sweet Home Chicago, Funky Nassau, Rawhide and of course the ‘classic’, Minnie The Moocher.

Backed by the house band at Stax Records, featuring the likes of Brooker T, Donald ‘Duck’ Dunn, Steve `Mr. Midnight Hour` Cropper and Matt Murphy, Dan Ackroyd and John Belushi danced and sang their way through one of the most musically impressionable films of all time.

Such has been their popularity, that the last 2 decades have seen a growing number of Jake and Elwood tribute acts performing at venues world wide, spreading the word of R`n`B & Soul. The musical pedigree of the film was underwritten by the inclusion of cameo roles by none other than JAMES BROWN, ARETHA FRANKLIN, RAY CHARLES, CHAKA KHAN and the incomparable CAB CALLOWAY.

Did John Belushi and Dan Ackroyd realise they would spawn an abundance of pork pie of hatted folk wearing dark glasses professing to be on a mission from God? Possibly, however, what they did become were the ultimate ambassadors of the music they loved. Their efforts are truly rewarded in the number of people that now cannot disassociate the songs with the characters – songs like…EVERYBODY NEEDS SOMEBODY, GIMME SOME LOVIN, SWEET HOME CHICAGO, and even the unconventional RAW HIDE.

So slip on your pork pie hat & shades and ‘get on down’ to the coolest, craziest, biggest party in town and join in the fun, whilst you party with Jake & Elwood as they, and the band profess to be on a mission from God!
